2026 Certified Research Development Consultant (CRDC)™ Certification Program

1. What is the Certified Research Development Consultant (CRDC)™ Certification Program?
The CRDC™ Certification Program is designed to strengthen the competencies of professionals who want to advance their skills in research consultancy, strategic planning, project management, and policy development.

2. Who is the CRDC™ program for?
The program is particularly suited for experienced professionals involved in research, consultancy, project development, organizational planning, program management, policy work, and related fields.

3. What competencies will be covered in the program?
The CRDC™ program focuses on key areas such as:

• Consultancy skills and client management

• Research project design and management

• Advanced strategic planning and implementation

4. Do I need to be a researcher to enroll?
Not necessarily. The program may also be suitable for professionals whose work involves consultancy, project development, strategic planning, policy development, program implementation, or research-related functions.

5. Is CRDC™ only for VRA Inc. members?
No. The certification program is open to both VRA Inc. members and non-members. Different registration rates apply.

6. How much is the registration fee?
The 2026 registration fees are:

• ₱2,000 – CRS Passers

• ₱2,500 – VRA Inc. Members

• ₱3,000 – Non-VRA Inc. Members

7. Is there a discounted rate for Certified Research Specialist (CRS)™ passers?
Yes. CRS™ passers are entitled to the special registration rate of ₱2,000.

8. Do I need to pass the Certified Research Specialist (CRS)™ before taking CRDC™?
The program is also open to VRA Inc. members and non-members, as reflected in the registration categories. CRS™ passers, however, are given a discounted registration rate.

9. What is the difference between CRDC™ and CRS™?
CRDC™ places greater emphasis on the application of research expertise in consultancy, project management, strategic planning, and client engagement. It is intended for professionals who want to further develop their ability to provide research-related consultancy and development services.

10. Will the program teach research consultancy skills?
Yes. One of the major areas of the program is consultancy skills and client management, helping participants better understand the professional and strategic aspects of providing research consultancy services.

11. Will project management be included?
Yes. The program includes research project design and management, which is particularly relevant for professionals handling research projects, institutional programs, development initiatives, and consultancy engagements.

12. Does the program include strategic planning?
Yes. Advanced strategic planning and implementation is one of the core areas highlighted in the CRDC™ program.

13. Who offers the CRDC™ Certification Program?
The program is offered by Visionary Training Center, in partnership with Visionary Research Association Inc.

14. Will participants receive a certification?
CRDC™ is offered as a certification program. Participants must comply with the applicable program and certification requirements established by Visionary Training Center. Complete requirements and guidelines will be provided to registered participants.
