1. What is the Certified Academic Writing Specialist (CAWS)™ Certification Program?
The CAWS™ Certification Program is designed to develop advanced competencies in academic and scholarly writing. It focuses on strengthening writing skills, aligning scholarly work with international publication standards, and improving strategies for effective research dissemination.
2. Who can enroll in the CAWS™ Certification Program?
The program is suitable for researchers, educators, graduate students, academic professionals, research advisers, thesis and dissertation writers, and individuals who want to strengthen their academic writing competencies.
3. Is the program conducted online?
Yes. The CAWS™ Certification Program is delivered online through Google Classroom, allowing participants to access the learning materials conveniently.
4. Is the program self-paced?
Yes. The program follows a self-paced learning format, allowing participants to study the modules according to their available time and preferred learning schedule.
5. Do I need to attend live classes?
The program is designed for flexible and self-paced learning. Participants can work through the provided modules and learning materials through Google Classroom.
6. What will I learn from the program?
The certification focuses on developing advanced academic writing skills, understanding scholarly and international publication standards, improving the presentation of academic work, and strengthening approaches to effective research dissemination.
7. Are learning materials included?
Yes. Enrollees will receive access to comprehensive modules and learning materials as part of the program.
8. How much is the enrollment fee?
The enrollment fee is:
₱2,000 – VRA Inc. Members
₱2,500 – Non-VRA Inc. Members
9. Is the discounted rate available to all VRA Inc. members?
The ₱2,000 member rate is available to eligible members of Visionary Research Association Inc. (VRA Inc.).
10. Who offers the CAWS™ Certification Program?
The program is offered by Visionary Training Center, in partnership with Visionary Research Association Inc.
11. Will I receive a certification after completing the program?
The program is offered as a certification program. Specific completion and certification requirements will be provided to enrolled participants as part of the program guidelines.

13. Can I enroll even if I am not a member of VRA Inc.?
Yes. Non-members are welcome to enroll. The applicable enrollment fee for non-VRA Inc. members is ₱2,500.
